Bocan Creche - Culdaff, Co. Donegal

Bocan Creche started their renewables journey with us about 7 years ago. Initially, was the drilling of the geothermal boreholes in the car park. Next was building a small plant room at the opposite end of the building and connecting it to the original plant room via the attic space. The EcoForest heat pump provides all the hot water and heating for this complete building all designed by Efficient Renewables.

The EcoForest 5-22 kW heat pump was the only heat pump that could fulfil what this building needed in terms of heat output. There is true savings of up to 75% with this installation.

This project won the small commercial high efficiency building award in 2019 at the Gala Ball in Dublin, which was judged by architects. It has also been recognised by SEAI as one of the most efficient creches in Ireland.
